Do I need to book?

Yes, we recommend it to all our guests. At weekends, on public holidays and at other times, too. Without a reservation we can’t guarantee you a table. With a reservation we can plan better. And so can you.

Can I book a table on the terrace?

No, we never take reservations for tables on the terrace. Just come by and see if one is free.

I booked online. Why haven’t I heard back yet?

We confirm or decline every online reservation by hand. Especially at weekends and on public holidays, this can take up to 48 hours. If you need an answer quickly, please call us during our opening hours.

When are you open?

Monday and Tuesday: 4 pm to 10 pm
Wednesday and Thursday: 11 am to 10 pm
Friday and Saturday: 11 am to 11 pm
Sundays and public holidays: 11 am to 10 pm

The kitchen is open from 4 pm to 9 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, and from 11:30 am to 9 pm on all other days. If a public holiday falls on a Monday or Tuesday, we open at 11 am.

Are you open at Christmas?

Yes, on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, so on 25 and 26 December. We are closed every year on 24 December.

Do you have vegetarian or vegan dishes?

Yes, always. As a small dish or as a full plate à la carte.

Can I eat gluten-free with you?

We have a small selection of gluten-free dishes, so your choice is limited. Please ask our staff directly when you visit and we’ll advise you.

Do you serve breakfast?

For groups of 15 or more you can book a breakfast with us. There are different options, so let us advise you. We don’t offer breakfast without advance booking or for groups of fewer than 15 people.

Can I pay by card?

Yes. We accept all common debit and credit cards except American Express. To pay by card, please come to the bar.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, of course. We’re happy to see them. On request we’ll bring a water bowl and some little dog treats.

Is Haus Hamacher accessible?

Yes. The terrace has step-free access and there is an accessible toilet in the restaurant.

What about the boats on the Kahnweiher pond and the mini golf?

Those aren’t run by us. Please ask at the information centre opposite Haus Hamacher.
